From March 15-27, Grant Harris and I attended a Fiji hackathon at EMBL in Heidelberg. It was a fantastic experience—we learned a lot about Fiji, got to meet many of Fiji's outstanding developers in person, and got in some solid hacking time.
When I returned to Madison I gave two internal presentations about the hackathon, the ImageJ2 project's relationship to Fiji, and the project's goals and directions. Feel free to peruse the slides in PDF format.
